Monica Matthews, Ph.D candidate, is an Industrial and Organizational Psychology (I/O) Consultant and an Executive Search professional. Her passion is partnering with Human Resources (HR) and organizations in regard to talent acquisition, organizational challenges, and human capital. Monica is an Executive Managing Partner with ISG, a Global executive recruiting firm helping organizations find and hire their ideal talent. As a Consultant, she thrives on finding solutions in the workplace by using positive psychology framework/models and tested analytics. Through people analytics and predictive measures, Monica helps companies evaluate and identify employee engagement standards and trends across the whole organization; she also partners with HR to improve corporate culture, wellness in the workplace. With a Masters’ in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, she is just completing her Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology in 2020 Currently, she is writing her dissertation on physician burnout and she has extensive background in both healthcare and organizational development. A member of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and has served on the Healthcare Government Relations Advocacy Committee for SIOP. She is a guest lecturer and speaker for the College of Southern Idaho.
