Simona Špilak has a vast professional expertise in pharma and FMCG industry, with almost 20 years’ experience in international sales, marketing and business development, holding a range of high professional and managerial positions, in CEE region, while having marketing, media and FMCG background. For last 3 years she has been working as a consultant and executive coach, for and with different clients (a lot of them being global multinational companies), on different executive search, leadership and business development projects for the region of Adriatic.
Having begun her career in the field of FMCG, she moved into pharmaceuticals. For six years she worked for the pharmaceutical giant Sanofi, where she was responsible for managing the CHC – Consumer Health Care (OTC, Medical Devices, Food Supple- ments) for eight countries in the Adriatic region. In this post, she built up the entire CHC unit, was in charge of geographical expansion and led all strategic, marketing, sales and organisational activities. Prior to that, she managed in GlaxoSmithKline marketing and the Aquafresh brand for the entire CEE region.
Simona is combining knowledge and experience gained in an international environment with the energetic approach and constantly challenges „status quo“ situation. With passion she creates concrete stories that lead to change and growth. For this reason she founded in 2016 Business and Organisational Consulting Institute, a company involved in leadership development and executive coaching, in Adriatic region.
Simona is a certified coach with Erickson Coaching International license and as well licensed expert for individual and team performance assessments Saville Assessment® and personality profiling Process Communication Model® (PCM), using both tools for employee development, organizational change and growth.
She holds a Master of Science in Economics and in addition to Slovenian, she is fluent in English, German, Serbian and Croatian. For the past 10 years, she has been a guest lecturer on the International Business course at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
